I had the pleasure of organizing weekly paint-outs from April through October 2013 choosing the Delaware History Trail as our theme and foundation. The Plein Air Painters of Mid-Atlantic explored and painted at over 20 sites along the Delaware History Trail. We found centuries worth of history at these sites painting the gorgeous country sides, historic Downtown's, historic buildings, riverfronts, waterways, lakes, ponds and award-winning beaches.
It was truly an artful and historic adventure for the group of artists, numbering from 6 to 18 depending on many factors.
